In my search for more obscure rig manuals, i have come accross several as
collections of pages scanned as .jpg files.

i have tried running them through the kurzweil vertual printer for ocr.
However, no joy.

Therefore, do any of you folks know of a good speech friendly file
converter which will let me convert those .jpgs to a more ocr friendly format?

Any info welcome, and I'll post my results to the list.
