Microbes indeed!  And the best way to insure this is to consume grass-fed,
free-range, organic red meat from say, New Zealand, which you age in the
refrigerator for 3 weeks or more, until it has a greenish color on the surface and
has taken on a different smell.  If you cook your meat, cook it only minimally.
Your gut will thank you!
