    Ok, John.

That's what I thought.

I generally talk across the mic, about one inch away.  It's just that when I
switch from the THF6A to the old Radio Shack HTX202 or 404, people say
there's a real difference in audio levels.

What's interesting is that there's no real difference in audio level between
the hand mic, and the THF6A itself.

Maybe it just by design has a lower mic gain setting than those old Radio
Shack Ht's.
