I concur.  You need to register with fcc to get an frn.  You then associate
your callsign with the frn.  The frn must be stored in the fcc database and
picked up by qrz.  That's a good thing because I misplaced my frn.
Fortunately, I remembered my password because I use the same on for just
about everything I do online.
