Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I was diagnosed with Celiac about 3 months ago,
this is my first post. This topic may have been previously covered and I
apologize if it has. I bought some green giant frozen vegetables the other day.
They aren't the plain vegetables but the boxed creamed spinach, garlic and herb
potatoes, and broccoli and butter. The ingredients looked ok so I bought them
and called Green Giant today. The lady I spoke to said that they cannot send
out a definitive gluten-free list; however, she said that if any ingredients are
derived from wheat, barley, oat, etc. it will be listed on the ingredient
list. I saw two other boxes that said "contains wheat products" when I was at the
store so that coincides with what she says. But my question is, if there
aren't wheat, barley, oat, etc. does that neccessarily mean gluten-free? Thank
you, Elizabeth
