Ken, I'm very sorry the Parkinson's is robbing your Mom of her mind. I saw
what it did to my cousin's in-laws. They would bring the dad to holiday
dinners and the man, once a biologist, once roamed the Berkeley hills and
they would locate him via a tracking device in his hat, after he declined and
they had to put him in a home, played with baby toys at those dinners. I am
convinced that the stress of caring for her dad caused my cousin's wife to
get breast cancer, she died from it.

I think a candy bar would be fine once in a while, just not a whole box of
chocolates. Anyway, it's like when an assistant of mine said to my aunt  when
she was 93, that she hoped she had used sunscreen when she was out on her
balcony... my aunt laughed and said whatever for?  LOL...  it was obvious
that she thought it stupid to worry about skin cancer at age 93.
