Hi Tom,

John is right. I am just heading out the door for a ham club meeting but
when I get home I will look in the manual and if someone hasn't given you
that info by then, I'll send it to you.

Take care and very 73.

Kevin :)

Subject: question on kenwood TMV7A

Hi all.

I am using a Kenwood TMV7A as a mobile rig in our family vehicle, and have
run into a small problem that I am hoping someone can help me with. We have
auto patches on our local 2 meter and 440 repeaters that I use fairly often.
When I am using the mic to key in the access numbers for the patch, and the
phone number I want to access, I like hearing the DTMF tones so I know my
nunbers are going through. For some reason, I have lost those tones. In
other words, as I key in the necessary numbers, no DTMF tones can be heard,
even though the numbers do go through.

Does anyone know how to re-activate the audible DTMF tones?

Thanks in advance for your help.
