People on this list have verified that most Johnsonville products are
gluten-free. I've just run across a job posting on their website
<http://www.johnsonville.com> that I thought I'd share, as it indicates
that they actively pursue allergen information for their products:

Position Title: Quality Documentation Specialist
Position Highlights: Johnsonville Sausage is an innovative manufacturer of
premium quality sausage. We have created this position to support the
product to market team and lead the process of creating, maintaining and
upgrading product specification documents for all Johnsonville products.
Position Description: Responsibilities include: communicating directly with
internal and external customers, and consumers, to gather all product
specification information (including ingredients, formulations, allergens,
labeling and packaging information, logistics information, retail data,
quality assurance and inspection standards); creating and maintaining
specifications on a Lotus Notes based system; serving as a resource in
getting needed technical and/or legal information on a wide variety of
issues (both domestic and international); and maintaining contact with
appropriate individuals in research and development, sales and marketing,
manufacturing, information systems and quality assurance to ensure that
issues and opportunities are resolved expeditiously.

While I don't eat their products due to my own dietary choices, I'd suggest
that people who do eat them contact the company to thank them for their
attention to such details.
