Hi Michael,

I owned a TS940 for many years and really thought highly of the
transceiver.  I bought it new; decided on it over the TS930 because the
power supply in the '40' is rated better and more important, the TS940 will
support speech with a VS1 board.

I haven't had the transceiver for six or seven years and have forgotten
some of its operation, but I am sure that you would be pleased with one.
