Hi all.  No, you can not enter frequencies from the Mic on a TM241.  The
only way you can tell what frequency you are on, is by a button I believe
on the bottom right of the radio.  I don't know what this function is
for, but it will play a series of tones, for the frequency, from lower to
higher in pitch, depending on the digit.  You have to have farely good
pitch to memorize the pitch of each digit, but it can be done.  It has
been several years since I messed with a 241, so I can't be any more
spicific than that.  I believe it also beeped, when you got back to
memory 0, or 1.
