First of all, Tom, you ought to join us on 3976.  <grin> Currently I own
three transceivers; I have switching power supplies on all of them.  If you
look carefully, you might hear some spurious stuff on 160 meters.  Frankly,
I've heard nothing which bothers me.

As all of the antennas you mentioned are compromise antennas, the G5RV can
do  very well as demonstrated by some users on 3976.
