The R5 covers 20, 17, 15, 12, and 10 meters. It does not require radials.
You may use RG58 or RG8X with no problem. RG58 will work fine in runs of
less than 100 feet, but the shorter, the better is the general rule.

Excluding 20 and 10 meters, the antenna should cover the entire bands. On
20, I think they claim 250 KHZ band width, and about 1 MHZ on 10.
