Special scholarships now available for EASI's Barrier-free Web Design
Course starting July 9. In honor of this special day in web history, June
21, the day that Federal Section 508 standards on accessible web design go
into effect, EASI is making this special offer.
For the nominal registration fee of $50 to cover registrations and
associated handling costs, EASI will provide scholarships to:
1 college students
2 people with a disability
3 staff from poor, private colleges with very limited funds to permit staff
to take such workshops . . .
4 public librarians
5 community college librarians
We sincerely believe this event will have a significant impact going far
beyond those institutions specifically mandated to meet the standards. By
providing these scholarships, we want to arm people with the information to
assist institutions to meet these new standards.
EASI is the premierre provider of both online and onsite training on
accessible information technology. Our online workshops have reached
