Yeah, they are. You don't need the soy and sugar. I have some jerky
made simply of grass-fed beef, and also some with rosemary and
garlic. They are both wonderfully flavorful. I also have a bunch of
emu jerky with salt, red wine, and vinegar. It tastes way too strong
for me these days.
