I think it's a fascinating study of how we fill in the blanks according to our world view when we lack information. And presume our view is so inerrant as to fail to question the lack of information. Because there isn't a lack of information...we filled it in.

recess of obscurity within the fruity nutso department. Is there a
comparable term between geo-centric and mental-centric, as in,
individual people, even in small groups and virtual communities, tend to
believe they are the sane ones?
