You need to check the specifications with reguard to printable area's for the
two respective printers.  The problem you describe sounds like the new
printer has a more narrow printable area than your older Epson LQ-510 or there is a
setup issue; as you state otherwise the unit works fine.  You should check to
see if the printing media is within the spec's of your new printer; i.e. is
the width of the checks inside the amount the printer can handle. Finally, you
might must need to adjust the format or print area layout.
