I run basically the same configuration. What I did was allow each computer
to access the Internet by itself and then shut down and disconnect
everything associated with the net including the modem. Power down
everything. Connect all of the hardware and then power up starting with the
Modem, Router and then the computers. If each of the computers can access
the net by themselves, you may find this a little easier. I did not however
use any of the Linksys software. I try to stay away from proprietary
programs as much as possible.
Another switch you may want to look at is, does your connection
automatically select the address every time you connect?
You may also try this Linksys address to see if it will help identify any
problems.http://192.168.1.1/ You will arrive at a password screen and have
to type in "admin" without the quotes to get in. I find this trouble shooter
to be of great value. You can also release and renew your DHCP settings with
it. Nothing like having all of the hardware on the same page at the same
time.
