Today's "fast" video cards, for example the one you mention below, are fast
at 3D graphics, which is important for 3D gaming.
Video, on the other hand, is 2D data!
Therefore I would not buy an expensive 3D card. I would go fo a good quality
graphics card, with focus on 2D quality, and not advanced 3D graphics.
On more thing;
If you are going to edit analogue video you will need a video capture card
with analogue inputs. This card could be separate, or integrated with the
video card/graphics controller.
