Hello,

I'm having this problem very recently where my single clicks are
behaving as double clicks in nearly 95% of the cases. Examples:

1. In Explorer, single clicking a file or folder will get it open.
2. In Words, single clicking a word will get it highlighted.
3. In Excel, single clicking a cell brings the cursor into the cell.

I've checked my "Folder Options" (under Start Menu_Settings)
and made sure it was set as "Classic Style" (not web style).

I'll mention the following remarks though, as I'm not sure
if they are related to the problem:

1. my Video Card (Ati: RAGE IIC AGP) acts funny sometimes.
2. my "9" & "-" keys (numeric pad) and,"a" would repeat if hit once.
3. I'm using a wheeled mouse: A4 Tech

Many thanks for your help.
