It sure makes it feel like winter is finally loosening its grip when its
time to boil the spiles and find the really poorly made mallet from my
high school shop class. It's our little tradition to use it to tap in
the spiles.

We started sugaring as a home school project (math, chemistry, botany
and American history all rolled into one!) and never stopped.

Can't wait!
