This is one time I would say do not do anything unless you
know exactly what you are doing and have very clear instructions
from the maker of your MotherBoard.

When flashing a BIOS, I "generally" take a very clean, plain, simple
boot disk and add the SPECIFIC version of the flash utility program,
AND the BIOS flash file for the MotherBoard model AND revision
number. (You want as few files as necessary since lots of times
you will be asked if you want to save the OLD (currently) installed
BIOS to the floppy. (Always say yes.)

I'm not sure if you have posted the MB model or revision numbers.

In the meantime - as they say, If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
You can easily end up with a totally non-responsive MB,
IF you have any of the wrong files.

Don't try to "stop" or interrupt a flash, and if you get in trouble
DO NOT turn the PC OFF!!! You may get one or more tries
from the "system files" in RAM... If you loose power, or shut down,
(which will clear the RAM), the BIOS may be damaged enough that
the system might not Boot because the floppy drive will appear "dead"...

A side note here about some MB manufacturers... SOMETIMES they
will tell you to ignore error messages telling you the file is wrong,
and go ahead anyway... I stay away from companies like that...
(Very sloppy programming...) But I've seen it and done it when
told by them... (It worked BTW.)

If you do not know what your MB is, there are small programs that will
"get the numbers" from it, and WEB sites that will let you look it up.
