I'm no burning buff-I just use mine for creating data disks. However, I did
do a bit of homework before I got the latest one. If this model is
available in your neck of the woods, it got good raps on the net and, I can
personally recommend it - it's a Liteon LTR-24102B, and it's a
24write,10re-write,40read model.
I can also recommend NTI CDMaker 2000 Pro for a burning prog, it's very
user friendly.
oops - I just re-read your post and I see you asked about EXTERNAL devices,
not the hidden variety. Oh well, I'll let my post stand, someone might
benefit from it.
