Andrew is out of control.  He does not realize many things-- among them: (1)
this is a "support list," where trashing members is not appropriate; (2) the
logical fallacy of ad hominem arguments (attacking the person, not the
argument being made); (3) the nature of science.  I would ask the listserv
manager to begin filtering Andrew's posts, and deleting those that use ad
hominem attacks and that are otherwise mean-spirited.  I have been on this
list for 5 years, and with but a few exceptions (that the listserv manager
eventually handled), the members have been supportive and informative-- and
though many disagreements have arisen, they are handled with respect for
other members, and whenever possible, by referring members to studies that
speak to the issue at hand.
