I asked our network people about that a while back and I seem to recall that
what I was told is if you're viewing a message sent as HTML and doing it in
text-only mode you might get those.
I use MS Outlook 98.
Less than 100 bytes and nothing there...

An e-question:
Why do all of your messages come through with an attachment sign showing in
the Inbox but no attachments available to be found. No one else's listings
look that way in the Inbox list and it makes my virus-checking mentality
nervous each time one comes in. It only started in the last week or so.
Norton is happy, it is just me looking at the list of new messages that is
wondering why.
