I have no experience with this rig, but have heard from some folks that
with an after market keypad (the qsyer) it is quite usable.  I would contact
Duane Fischer, w8dbf.  Don't have his email handy, but he runs the
hammarlund list on qth.net.  He recommended the 746 to me a while ago.
Didn't get it then because I had just heard about the ts2000.
