I have WinXP Pro but I think that this is done in the same way as for WinXP
Home Edition.
Go to Start\Run,type in Restore and click OK, in the opened window click on
the file named "strui", you will see a system restore dialog box appear.
Click to check Restore my computer to an earlier time and click Next. This
window is for you to choose a restore point. To restore Windows to the
original state choose the day when you had it install. Have a look at the
calendar on the left hand of screen and you can choose a store point from
there. Futher do following the computer's instructions.
