                Hello all,

I recently received the following message, when
attempting to boot my WinXP professional computer: "Windows Could not
start because the following file is missing or corrupted: [Windows
Root] \System32\ntoskrnl.exe Please re-install a copy of the above file"
I would appreciate it, if someone could give me a step by step procedure
in resolving this issue. Thanks in advance.
