that one is even more curious as charcuteries (  fatty pates and sausages
made out of pork ...) is big in France as cooking with pig fats
fatty cheeses must have also lot saturated fats and they are consumed in
great quantities ( every meal most often )
Are they american studies who think that way .
If you compare with americal health status ,the reason is simple french eat
way better than americans and don't snack all the time or drink sugary
drinks all day long .
