Judy,
Yes, I think that too much saturated fat in some people can downregulate LDL
receptors in the liver.
I trim visible fat off meat, eat some fish, use extra virgin olive oil, eat
almonds and walnuts, and take a wild salmon oil supplement.
I think that I need to cut out the bun/bagel on the egg sandwiches that I
grab on the run too often. And exercise should help improve insulin
sensitivity, increase metabolism, and lose a few pounds. That's the game
plan for the time being.
