Well, technically, any fruit with internal seeds (and no core) is a berry.
Oranges (and other citrus) are a special berry called hesperidium. Tomatoes
are berries, too, as are cucumbers and the like.
I don't believe they are closely related, nor do I think the antioxidant
level of all "technical berries" is as high as the ones we commonly think of
as berries.
