Thanks to everyone who quickly wrote me that Kellogg's Corn Flakes have barley malt and are not therefore gluten-free.

Also, I just returned from shopping at Hillers' Market in Ann Arbor , Michigan, and had a very positive experience. The manager actually escorted me through the store and showed me all the gluten-free products. He didn't know which of the mainstream items were gluten-free, but did show me a lot of the specialty items.

These Hilllers stores in Michigan have made a great commitment to Celiacs. I can't believe I waited 8 months to take the 35 mile trip there. They're on the web - for locations, check www.hillersmarkets.com
