There is an article in today's Newsday titled, 'Boy Helps Doctors: 3rd
grader's science project key to diagnosing disease'. It seems that an
8-year-old was doing a science project on Type 1 diabetes for the science
fair at Brookhaven National Laboratory and in doing it he discovered that he
and his mother have Celiac Disease.

The story can be found at
http://www.newsday.com/news/health/ny-liceli103326743jun10,0,3846967.story

It was on page 3 in my paper today.
