I had trouble determining which way it went in, and I ended up getting
sighted help for that. What you'll really need sighted help for though is
to select the correct menu options so it will speak once you've installed
it.

It's hard to know which menu option you're on, even though you get a lower
beep at the 0 one. The option numbers change. For example, if you go
through the options while on a memory channel, you get option 3 which is
used to lock the channel out. There are others that are not always present,
so I've found it difficult to reliably determine which menu number I'm on.

Subject: Installing speech module for TM-G707A

Hi all,

I just got my TM-G707A, and I want to install the speech module. Is this
something a blind person can do, or should I get sighted assistance? Any
help is appreciated.
