Yes, fat levels are reasonable becasue they're being burned for energy.
How are your kidneys doing with the high protein intake? 24 hour urinary
protein, creatinine, etc.
I challenge any "LC" diabetic to show me medical trials that high protein
is safe for diabetic kidneys. Maybe I've overlooked something, but
remember, the risk of kidney complications is high enough already. Why
take a chance in the absence of evidence?
