Kyle,
Regarding your friend who had the accident and your comment about
being born with a disbility or aquiring one later in life, has been an
interest of mine in my academic pursuits. It can go either way. In the case
of the person acquiring a disability later in life, most literature point to
the pre-morbid personality as the best predictor of adjustment. In our case,
there are many factors, family rearing, social environment, etc.
The grandkids are great! They will be here in an hour to play computer
games. By the way we celebrated Emma's birthday last Sunday also. Austin is
ok for music except I like the blues and rock and roll.
Love to Laura and prayers for the CT to be ok.
Bobby
