Hello List~
My niece in Lamont, IL, received very high results on her celiac blood
tests. Her GI, of course, says she doesn't have celiac because she doesn't
have diarrhea nor has she lost 30 lbs. What does it take to educate these
gastroenterologists? She is scheduled for an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy
(due to rectal bleeding after eating gluten) in 2 weeks by this same doctor.
Can any of you help with information of knowledgeable doctors in her area? I
remember seeing something regarding testing for celiac at a Chicago hospital
but couldn't find it in the archives. By the way, my sister just called and
two of my niece's children have also tested high on the bloodwork. Because
of the doctor's attitude, my niece is sure these test results must be in
error. Please help! I will forward replies on to her. Thank you.

Wishing Wellness~
Jude WA
