Hi Everyone,

I have been in contact with Hiland Dairy Foods (sold in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas) and have been assured that all of their products are GF except for their Chocolate Chip Cookie Do Ice Cream.  

I contacted them a second time when I noticed that their Stacks of Chocolate Ice Cream listed malt as an ingredient.  I received a letter from Greg Helbig in their Quality Control department along with copies of signed allergen statements from their suppliers that it is also GF.  

I also spoke with him by phone (417-862-9311) to assure that when they refer to gluten, they are considering gluten from wheat, oats, rye and barley, and not just wheat.  He reassured me again personally.

We have been enjoying their dips, egg nog, and ice creams with no problems.
