Hello..

I noticed my computer has been locking up more lately and have now
noticed that I get this message when the machine boots up just after the
WIN98 splash screen:

Problem: missing C:Windows\system\himem.sys missing or corrupted
file on config.sys line 8

can someone explain what this all means? How bad is it? How can it be
corrected?

Thank you!

AL
