It's the telltale you forgot to format your hard disk drive.

You *must* use the FORMAT (driveletter:) command (FORMAT C:) to format your
hard disk drive.

You partitioned your hard disk drive, but did not format it,
thus no FAT on the hard disk drive!

To use a disk drive, you *must* format it first.

FDISK *does not* format the hard disk drive automatically.
