The boot failures and bad clusters *do not* telltale a faulty power supply.
The above telltales, especially a PC as old as a K5 class about 6 years old,
an incompatible BIOS, because the BIOS suffers the 8 GB hard disk drive limitation. Thus, you *must* install a hard disk drive overlay.
