In a park, by chance? Large predators do occasionally eat people,
especially lions and tigers, but not as often as you might think
considering how many people there are available to be eaten. Most
predators avoid people, especially if they have been hunted. I suspect
this has been true a very long time. I doubt if stupid male
testosterone is any less now than it always has been. It is the danger
that makes it fun. Even before guns were invented these animals were
hunted regularly. It has been ages since they hunted us more than we
hunted them.
