No, they don't grow wild here. I don't even know what the seed bearing
part of a sesame plant looks like. Other small seeds are easy to
collect. I collect radish seeds easily enough, about the same size.

I raise my seed bearing fingertips to my mouth, and insert them between
my teeth, which proceed to crack the sunflower seedcoat very neatly. My
tongue then separates the meat from the inedible coat, which is spit
out.
