I recently suffered a major crash/worm problem. I had to reinstall all my programs. After having done so, the next time I rebooted, I had no use of any of the the cd/dvd devices connected to my computer. I obviously used them to install my programs, including Windows XP , (my operating system),but now my computer shows no record of them whatever. No drive, no drivers, no nothing. I assume I made some dumb error along the line, (I don't mind admitting that), and there is a software issue I must address. (All three drives haven't been touched in any way since reinstalling the software programs).
Help??
