Either your browser is configured not to download images automatically
(this is an optional setting...), or there is a problem with the server
where the images are supposed to come from (which might not be where the
rest of the page is...).
  In IE, you can retry by right-clicking on the little X and choosing "Show
Picture" from the popup menu.  (There is ONE part of ONE site I often visit
where I routinely need to do this.)
