Trying to install may new Aopen 5224U Cd recorder I found my MS 6528 mobo
not to have a USB 2 interface. However and despite neither the paper manual
nor the one on the cd refers to compatibility with USB 1, among the features
labeled on the box you can read "backward compatibility USB 1.0/1.1
interface".
When I connect the USB cable and power the driver on, My OS- W XP pro- warns
there is a high speed device connected to a low speed interface. At the end
the device manager shows theres is trouble with the device and is not ready
to use.
Am I stuck or is there anything I can do to use this recorder with this
motherboard without getting a new USB2 adapter card?
TIA
Roberto
