sounds like  a windows file is corrupted, You can place your win 98 or me
boot disk in and boot to dos with the  A: prompt  type in sys a: and follow
on screen instruction and than reboot system , if this doesn't work you
should reformat the drive and reinstall win 98 or me  or other Operating
system of your choice. remeber other programs such as word processors or any
other programs you had on there will be gone so you will need to get the
other program cd's to install after you install windows.
