I hope someone can give me an idea on UPS advice.

I don't have UPS at home, but I always wanted one.  Now I'm ready to get one.

I have three choices:

1) buy from my workplace, but we only deal with Liebert, and the price is high compare with other brand.  or buy a APC ups, which is also high in price.

2) buy a SOLO ups, which is much cheaper than Liebert and bit expensive than OPTI.

3) buy a OPTI ups, which I found to be the cheapest, and looks good on paper too.

I don't have experience with either SOLO or OPTI, anyone can tell me if they are good brand? I'm thinking to get OPTI VS500.

Another thing that worry me is that the dealer told me OPTI ups comes with direct manufactory warranty, anyone knows how's OPTI service?

**Price based on 500VA UPS while Liebert is 33% more expensive than OPTI, and SOLO is somewhere in between.
