Andy,

Ok, my post from last week insisting that you're right 99% of the time shows
that I'm wrong much more often than that. Let's dissect your message
sentence by sentence, shall we?

1)"a lot of sloganeering, but not much reasoning"

There's plenty of reasoning, as you'll soon find out, mate. Plenty.

2)"true allergy to milk is quite rare, whereas intolerance to the
heat-changed proteins in pasteurised milk is more common."

Fascinating. Really. My post had nothing to whatever to say on the
subject. But a nice tangent.

3)"the reason allergy and lactose intolerance is uncommon in caucasians is
the consumption of milk obviously confers survival advantage. a smart
move."

Nice theory. Again tangential to my point.

4)"next you'll be saying there was no milk consumers on the african
savannah."

I think the verb you're looking for is "were."

Now, my point again. The fact that it was shown that milk drinking was done
by humans 6000-7000 years ago rather than 4500 years ago does nothing to
dent the theory that it was post-agricultural man doing the milk drinking.
