ridiculous ! one pig responsable for an ebola outbreak !?.
i am not used to be so judgmental but am tired to see how this old , war
like paradigme hold on tight in the mind of peoples .
in nature all partners in infections ( viruses, bacterias, parasites , you
name it) are everpresent circulating from species to species and inside
species .
they are in fact ( viruses in particular) agents of evolution ( circulating
new genetic information ) the possibly pathological manifestation of their
work represent a very very small portion of their function ( healthy carrier
IS the norm ).
when symptoms appear it shows that the organism was out of harmony from the
whole of life dance and they are the manifestation of the body's effort to
come back to harmony ( virals infections by their definite duration are
obviouslly genetically programmed ).
in the process some organisms might be eliminated for the benefit of the
whole species but they are in general very few in comparaison with the
extent of virus presence .
also if not interfered with , this infection will bring the body in a better
health ( eliminating away unwanted matter. never seen how much discharges
are produced while sick ? )
Easier to blame virus than to adress and change the circonstances that
brought the unbalance in the first place .
as long there is a scape goat everything is fine .
