Actually, I believe that an "essential" fatty acid, such as the omega-3, is
one which the body requires for good health but cannot manufacture on its
own; therefore, essential fats are obtained exclusively through the diet.
Since the body can manufacture its own saturated fat, it is not considered
to be "essential".
Other than that, I agree with what you say. :)
